We have had a quiet 2015 so far, but it’s that time again for the annual Sedbergh Artisan Markets. The first market this year will be on May 23 from 9am-2pm and we will be there selling our beautiful watercolour and photographic cards, prints and local books. We will be at each of the events this year so please note the other market dates – June 27, July 25, August 22 and September 26.
We will be at the St. Andrew’s Christmas Fair again this year, 15th November 10-4. We have all the old favourates and some new items as well. We have some new Spring and Summer cards of beautiful local views and Christmas card packs of our Winter cards. We will also have a few original watercolour paintings by our local artist who has created all of our wonderful watercolour cards!
We are in the final stages of finishing the Dent Colouring Book, hopefully available in May. I got my four year old to test one of the pictures, definately an artist in the making.
A selection of our Sedbergh watercolour greeting cards are now available for purchase from the Sleepy Elephant on Main Street in Sedbergh.
We will be at the Sedbergh Late Night Opening on Wednesday 4th December selling our various products including our five new cards (local and international). All great items for Christmas cards, stocking stuffers and presents!
We will be at the St. Andrew’s Christmas Fair on Satuday 16th November selling all our wonderful cards, prints and books! If you are interested in purchasing larger quantities of cards to send out for Christmas please contact us.
We will soon have five new greeting cards which will be off to the printers shortly. Two more will be added to our local range ‘Dent Town from the River Dee’ and ‘The Howgills and Dowbiggin’. We have now created an international range of cards with the first three being, ‘Old Omani Door, Salalah’, ‘Old Omani Windows, Salalah’ and ‘Seashells of Oman’. All are now available to preview on our website!
We have just delivered our first batch of beautiful watercolour prints to the Sleepy Elephant in Sedbergh. The images include views of Sedbergh, the Lake District and Arabia!
We designed a lovely colouring page for the Sedbergh Primary PTFA which was used as part of a colouring competition at the Sedbergh Gala. We were honoured to be asked to judge the images that were submitted. Thank you to all the children who participated, there was a wonderful selection of colouring pages to judge, which made it very hard to choose the best! Congratulations to the winners!
Another shop has just started stocking our Sedbergh Colouring Book! If you are visiting the Dent Heritage Centre in Dent look for our book there, or you could try in Sedbergh at the Tourist Information Centre, the Green Door Sweetshop or Farfield Mill Arts and Heritage Centre.
